Art shouldn’t be judged by a scale, and the ability of those artists not judged.
All of this to say that the experiences of the Millenial Generation are so unbelievably vast that it would be difficult to condense the experiences into one work. Perhaps our generational novel wouldn’t be one novel but several.
What I call the curse of a writer, is really the weight of that metaphorical albatross, that psychological burden that feels like a curse.
We all learn from somebody in this marathon, so don’t waste your time comparing yourself to others.
For myself, I used to think mental illness was linked with serial killers, so the very notion that I might have mental issues was absurd. I’m not a serial killer. My search history might disagree, but I’m a writer.
