All of this to say that the experiences of the Millenial Generation are so unbelievably vast that it would be difficult to condense the experiences into one work. Perhaps our generational novel wouldn’t be one novel but several.
We as a society don’t want to be thankful for what we already have, but what we want. Being thankful means being content with what we already have, but we always seek for what is new and improved, when it usually becomes outdated or replaceable within the year.
Aaron Lewis appeals to the lonely and broken like a train whistle to a rambler and whiskey to the drunkard. His voice – a deep, raspy character brought on by years of tobacco and alcohol – adds an element to the music he sings that soothes the restless soul.
