Ethan H. Gaines is the co-owner and CEO of Last Best Press. He was born in Southern California but was raised in the Flathead Valley of Montana, where he has since enjoyed the outdoors the country has to offer. He has held a variety of jobs that has lent perspective in his writings. Ethan writes under the pseudonym Ryatt Eddie Cash, inspired by three different people: Ryatt (nephew), Eddie (cowboy poet uncle), and Cash (Johnny Cash, Man in Black). He has been published on Screen Anarchy, Moviepilot, and Vocal Media. Ethan resides in Kalispell with his wife and three children.

Fellow co-owner and Cover Artist, Nicholas Friesen was born in Florida and moved to Montana as a young child. He and Ethan began the publishing business together in 2016. Nicholas also lives in Kalispell with his wife and three children.

Cedar Martin is a pattern artist, graphic designer, and all-around artist. She was originally from Colorado where she received a degree in Radiologic Technology at Colorado Mesa University before settling in Montana. Cedar joined the team as a graphic artist in 2019.
